Girls don't get judged any different in any of our events, especially Tampa Am. That could be why there has never been a girl
that made the cut to Sunday in Tampa. Lacey Baker
changed that today. She killed it - noseslide back 270 out down the hubba, hardflipped the stairs, 360 flip the hip, and more. Derek Elmendorf was
first run, first heat and ended up getting the Golden Ticket for today after finishing up his run with a switch frontside feeble down the rail.
Ishod Wair, who got
in with video footage and has no sponsors, also made the cut today. Every time someone skates that got in with footage I'm always nervous that they're
going to totally suck it and I'll get ripped to pieces on the mic by Vern and Clements asking me why I let him in. Ishod came through.
