Staying Classy in San Diego Next Week

ASR and Crossroads is in San Diego next week. Shakka bras are excercising their thumb and pinky, Cali girls are asking for the week off at Bennigans so they can booth model, and every industry dude becomes sketchy flyer guy trying to get you to come to the ultra-cool-guy extreme sunglass and boardshorts party. Skip all that and join the crusty skateboarders you've been seeing all around the globe all year at the Annual Damn Am Awards. Remember the Awards from last year?. It's like that except this time it's at the Tum Yeto headquarters in downtown San Diego. There's a mini-ramp, free sauce if you're of age, and the SPoTlight Productions staff in budget ass suits giving out awards to our favorite skaters of 2009.

Also at ASR, SPoTlight Productions and Volcom are doing a $10,000 Best Trick Contest at the mini-ramp there. It's Wednesday, February 3rd at 2pm at the San Diego Convention Center. It's all given out in cash as you throw down your best moves. I recommend that you bring some cash with you, too, because if you're doing wack crap like blunt nosegrabs, we are going to charge you for it. It's kind of like a reverse best trick contest. You hurt our eyes, you have to pay. See you there.
