Not only did I have my phone out filming the whole weekend, I also had my camera pointed in your face, and sometimes mine. Here are some of my favorites from the weekend from the Contest to the nightlife and everything in between.

I spent the entire day up front doing registration and serving up a lot of high fives and handshakes, but I did manage to break out every now and then shoot some photos here and there. I can't wait for this weekend to be in full swing. I'm ready to work hard and lurk hard.

The story of losing at Tampa Pro is an amazing tale of human drive and determination. Follow your nightmares and you too can end up at the bottom, recognized for your valiant efforts, high fived in the gutters of Ybor, and celebrated by the last few true dirtbags in skateboarding. Here's to y'all!

There is no denying that Tampa Pro 2011 was an all-time-high on the level of excitement and participation. However, what many pros, industry leaders, and skateboarding fans didn’t know, was that during the event, from March 11th – 13th, was the first step for SPoTlight Productions in securing exclusive pro contracts from participants.
