Demos at SPoT

Go Skateboarding Day takes the damn good time we have skateboarding every day to a whole new level of good times this year around with the Kayo team stopping by to rip, hang out, and hold down. We've got a new episode of SPoT Life with all the footage and a bunch of photos and sequences, too.

Sometimes when you "hail Mary" it, you get a shocker and actually make it, your jaw dragging on the ground as you roll away, arms in the air. That happened a few times during the Best Trick Contest we had with the Nyjah Huston, Evan Smith, and Levi Brown as judges during the Skate With the Element Team session at Skatepark of Tampa. Thanks to everyone that stopped by and to the Element Team that hung out all afternoon with everyone.

It’s been a long time since Tony Hawk has skated in a demo at Skatepark of Tampa. I’m talking 90’s here. Big thanks to Tony and the entire Birdhouse crew for swinging by SPoT on their MIA to NYC Tour.

One of our favorite Team Managers whose personality increases with every can of sauce tipped was recently here in Florida with the whole Billabong crew. Brian Fick sent over these photos of their stop at SPoT, some gator adventures, and a meal at The Bricks of Columbus, aka Brocatos.

We hit the road to Naples with Fred Gall and Bryan Herman to do a demo there for them today.
