Colin Clark's Footage

Colin Clark was here for half the day before he had to take off to Vegas. He's got a few minutes of footage for you here.
Samuel Garcia is taking this pop shuv to 1st place in the 8 and Under.

Look closely and you’ll see what appears to be a tiny action figure of some sort on a skateboard out there.
Skater Profile: Ryan Mckinney aka Tucker
Wait, that’s a live action figure. It's four-year-old Ryan Mckinney aka Tucker. Cute overload had the building cheering, but it was also amazing to see someone that young get creative on the plank making up his own tricks and figuring out his next moves on his own out there.

Tucker finished his run off with this big drop-in. Click to enlarge.

Austin Butler didn’t make this kickflip in time for the Jam, but I couldn’t bring myself to give a nine-year-old kid a Take a Poop.
Skater Profile: Austin Butler
Carlos Mat, I like your kickflips.

Dare I call Michael Schmidt "Baby Koston" with that style and yellow tint? He’s looking good out there at only 12-years-old.
Skater Profile: Michael Schmidt
Michael Schmidt's got a man's frontside ollie, too. Click to enlarge.

You better be making every trick when your name is Landon. Landon Swan – 360 pop shuv.

Eddie Valle – wide stance boardslide.

It’s not pretty, but Grant Kassinger is just learning and skating the way we all should every time we set foot on a board – fully going for it. Damn son, throwin' it at the rail. Click to enlarge.
Skater Profile: Grant Kassinger
Jake Sykes got a lot of attention today, killing it and looking damn good at it. That’s a switch frontside flip.

Snakes
Thanks to Vans for hooking up the trophies.
8 and Under Division winners – long after the Contest is over and they’re still wearing their helmets. They’re like hats to these kids.
These days the 9 to 12 Division is skating at the level that the 13 to 15 Division was years ago. There’s been some amazing overall progression in skateboarding here at SPoT.
How to come up on a Koston deck in the product toss. If you're on our Facebook, you can get in on this in digital format with our regular Digital Product Tosses that I do. Click to enlarge.
Thanks to the parents who bring all the cute overload.

I'm blowing it on the focus here and also for some reason thought standing behind a pole would be a great angle. Victor's 360 pop shuv is looking good. Click to enlarge.
Skater Profile: Victor Wang
Where did Devin Abreu come out of? He was killing it. Almost reminded me of a young Nick Trapasso with this nice 360 flip down the stairs and more. Click to enlarge.
