It's been 14 years of giving for Make-A-Wish at the Texas Skate Jam in Houston.

Who dat? That's a pretty good looking switch Bennett grind (correction: oops, Barley grind). It's not easy making that trick look good. Ishod Wair has those new Zoom FP's. Anyone tried those yet? Joey from Nike SB left me a pair at the Park that I still have to get used to. I barely tie my shoes and these fit tight like a sock.
Skater Profile: Ishod Wair Not many people can get away with the camo cargo shorts. In fact, I'd say that particular attire is probably capable of ruining a skateboard career. Somehow Felix gets away with it. So it's just him and Matt Hensley that are allowed. Felix still has a nice grown man 360 flip.
Skater Profile: Felix Arguelles The best thing out of Minneapolis - Steve Nesser and his half cab flips.
Skater Profile: Steve Nesser Cody McEntire is right at home in Texas. That's a big bigspin. Yep yep.
Skater Profile: Cody McEntire This is George Karvounis' hometown. That's a backside flip. See you at Tampa Am next month, George.
Skater Profile: George Karvounis That's a big pyramid to be doing anything fatty to flatty. Kechaud Johnson has the kickflip for it.
Skater Profile: Kechaud Johnson Sewa Kroetkov from the Netherlands won the Am eS Game of SKATE. Not a bad way to kick off a month long stay in the US.
Skater Profile: Sewa Kroetkov For some reason, this reminds me of my kindergarten glass photo. It feels like we're in a gym with those lines on the ground. DC didn't just back the event with a big financial contribution, they brought the entire crew to skate, high five, and sign away. Tommy's got that frontside flip to flat on anything you put in front of him.
Skater Profile: Tommy Sandoval Ben Hatchell was doing some crazy crap in the bowl. He did a damn good looking frontside flip stale fish over that hip, but I missed it.
Skater Profile: Ben Hatchell Good to see Robbie Russo is alive and well and right back in the jam sessions.
Skater Profile: Robbie Russo There's lot of heavy metal parking lot at this Contest. Gravette and Darrell Stanton posted up outside.
Skater Profile: David Gravette You're killing it if your go to move is 360 flip frontside 50-50 on a rail. I'm more and more of a Garrett Hill fan every time I see him.
Skater Profile: Garrett Hill This photo of P-Stone is weird not because of his Snuggie, but because he doesn't have a can of sauce in the other hand.
Skater Profile: Preston Maigetter aka P-Stone This trick reminds me of the guy with the treble clef on his face. Chris Cole - fakie 5-0.
Skater Profile: Chris Cole Serious imposters here: Thin Stalker Steve, Tony Cervantes, David Gonzales, Bam Margera, Sierra Fellers, and Baby Weiger.
Skater Profile: David Gonzalez Jim Thiebaud and son Jack - thanks for the support and bringing Deluxe!
Skater Profile: Jim Thiebaud Sierra Fellers said he's going to mall grab that trophy all the way back home.
Skater Profile: Sierra Fellers I need to apologize to that kid right there with the grip tape. I pegged him right in the face with a shirt during the product toss. It's just a shirt, but still, man I didn't think it would be a direct hit. Sorry about that, buddy! It's a little weird seeing gun patrol around a product toss. Thanks to everyone who was a part of this weekend. Later that night, Billy Rohan brought us along on some radio show he was invited to be on. Here's how that went.
Skater Profile: Billy Rohan The filmers are looking real similar these days. Colin Clark and Joe Pelham can't wait for Chanel's show.
Skater Profile: Colin Clark They're all rehearsing their Chanel lyrics while they wait for her to blow up da club. I bet it's thumpin' in the Clem 350 right now on their long drive back to Tampa. Frosty probably doesn't remember taking this dude's mic and shouting out "Skatepark of Tampa!!!" Then he adds, "dot com!" Yeah, Frosty.

Sketchy Chill Cam/Cell Phone Video
Edited on iMovie, shot on an iPhone4. Crazy dude creeps out David Gravette, Chanel's trying to rap again, Schaefer loves it, an amazing game of SKATE between Chris Cole and Ishod Wair including Rick flips, double 360 flips, and switch backside big flips, and finally, a few closing words from Schaefer.Colin Clark Footage: Make-A-Wish Johnny Romano Texas Skate Jam
