SPoT Ybor Check

Photos and words by Frank.
I stopped by SPoT Ybor to stash my camera bag before a cruise down 7th ave, and to check out what was new in the shop.
Tom
Tom was pretty busy checking in all the new gear that just arrived at the shop. If you see him or any of the dudes from the park over in Ybor, make sure you stop in and give them a high five.
Brixton gear is looking good.
There's a pretty damn good selection of shoes over here. This guy was impressed.
I want to get a pair of the Nike Lunar One Shot after watching the wear test some of our guys did awhile back. Check it out here.
The Vans Half Cab is a classic skate shoe that has always been one of my favorites.
Uncle Sam needs to get a pair of these in his next box from Vans.
I like how the shop displayed all the kits you can put together. Here is a DGK tanktop / hat combo.
Stance socks killing it with the NBA series.
The T-shirt wall.
The Levis skateboarding collection.
Skully used to sit outside SPoT Ybor and let everyone know about all the new gear that just came in. One day his hips and legs fell off, so now he just hangs around inside.
More Nike SB kicks in fresh summer colors.
You can’t go wrong with the classic red and black colorway.
Herschel Bags with some sick patterns.
Karl Watson's company, Organika is always putting out fresh gear.
Now I know where Robby Kirkland got his pants from for the Shaqueefa demo.
Last photo before hitting the streets is this LRG shirt & hat kit. Always a great selection here...if you are rolling through Ybor or stuffing your face at The Bricks next door, make sure you stop in and check it out.
Met up with Chris Jata at Reservoir Bar after leaving the shop. He took a break from running the pool table to get a quick 360 flip. We had to have some skating in here, right?
Here's a new spot that is in need of a broom.
And finally, we get kicked out by this guy right before a nice afternoon rain. Thanks for checking out the photos and see you next trip.
