See You in Some Random City This Summer

When you get older, and assuming you're not a pile that quits skating at twenty-something, you'll look back and realize that a lot of life long friends you've made were people you met and hung out with at random skateboard shindigs. Summer is the season of skateboard shindigs. Here's where we will be high fiving you while enjoying some fine skateboard trickery over the next few months. Coming up real soon is Maloof Money Cup NYC on June 5 - 6. Check out the progress so far on getting it built. This time, it's staying. Here in Florida, Red Bull Manny Mania is at City Walk in Orlando. The event is free and open to the public, but as far as skating in the Contest, check with your local shop to see if they got an invite. On June 12, we're kickin' it with them corn fed bitches at Damn Am Minneapolis. Need a skateboard bid'niss rumor to kick around? Ask yourself why industry backing of this event has seemed to be on the decline and what those Damn Am dudes are possibly going to do about it. Following Damn Am, Schaefer takes his mic skills to the 12th Annual TransWorld SKATEboarding Awards with Pat Duffy in Los Angeles. In Charlotte, North Carolina on June 19th, there's another Red Bull Manny Mania. At the end of June, there's the return of the vert contest where you will get "whipped and beaten by the rolling whores" of Copenhagen Pro. I love my Euro friends, but they seem to breed KKK members there. Don't go if you're not pro. Summer doesn't slow down in July with AmserDamn Am, Maloof Money Cup Orange County, and Cons' Coastal Carnage. Closing out the summer are our friends and long time partners over at ASR who are again hosting a Volcom Best Trick Contest and Crossroads.
