Patinas Sin Fronteras (Skate Without Borders) Post at Skatepark of Tampa

Patinas Sin Fronteras (Skate Without Borders)

Right now, skaters in Cuba are sharing trucks, wheels and decks just to have something to skate every day. There are no skate shops and no access of any kind to skateboarding equipment, so they make due with what they have and what others donate. Filmer and street artist Spencer Keenan Cunningham, along with photographer Chris Miller traveled to the island this month to hook the residents up with some skate gear and made this film, "Patinas Sin Fronteras", which translates to "Skate Without Borders". Here is a 6-minute trailer of this inspirational documentary that captures the true heart of skateboarding. See if you can spot the etnies x SPoT t-shirt from back in the day.
