Vans Pool Party

This weekend Vans was nice enough to have us at their offices for some skate bid'niss and pleasure before we went to the Vans Pool Party. I took my first steps towards being the first human to go digital and also put on my alter ego as The Editor and shot some Frontside Grind Magazine covers: Vans Pool Party 2013.

Spring Roll Presented by Lakai This Weekend

This Saturday, we're opening up an hour early at 8am instead of 9am so I can get you guys checked in and out there skating quicker for the Spring Roll Presented by Lakai. The contest filled up last week so I stretched it and added about 30 more spots. Those spots were also immediately swept up. This has caused inbox explosion for me so I want to explain to everyone why we can't add anymore. There are now 159 skaters in the Contest. I believe at about 130-140 skaters, the day gets too long, the quality of judging starts to decline, and we can't provide the best contest experience for you. 159 is already pushing it so at this point, no one else can skate. I have opened up registration for the School's Out Jam in June so get signed up for that one if you missed this one. I don't know how these are filling up so fast lately, but thanks everyone for coming to our local skateboard shindigs. If you didn't get in, you can still hang out and skate with the Lakai team. Guy Mariano will be here along with Stevie Perez, Miles Silvas, and Sebo Walker who is taking Raven Tershy's place. It's going to be a ripping Saturday, contest or not. See you here!

It's the first All Ages Contest of the year that leads into the All Ages Awards in November. See you here and let's get some ripping skate photos and maybe a HiDefJoe clip for you.
