Skateboarder Magazine and SPoT Productions joined forces to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. It was a hot day at Stoner Plaza in West LA, but everyone battled through heat. All in all the skateboard community was able to raise over $5,000 for a great cause.

This could be the best thank you note I've ever seen. Schaefer and Clements recently went to some local schools to talk about what you can do when you grow up. If I ever grow up, maybe I'll figure that out. Anyway, Schaefer got the best thank you note from the class.

T4PREZ was Santa this time where Skatepark of Tampa's charity, Boards for Bros, did another distribution on Christmas Eve. Thanks to everyone who helped build boards and contributed parts all year long. We're going bigger in 2012. See Chris Nieratko's prediction number three right here.

Porpe packed up an extra checked back on the trip to South Africa so he could hook up a bunch of locals with some completes from our Boards for Bros charity. He's got a story through photos for you: Boards for Bros South Africa 2011. Next year we will all be doing the same thing to give out even more boards. Good idea, Porpe, and great photos, too.
