If you find yourself stuck in your town and you know you should be taking more action and making less excuses, listen to Nathan Morley's story. Nathan has no sponsors and went through hell to get out to Damn Am Woodward West from Wisconsin. From busses to bums to stolen phones to finally landing in Tahachapi only to discover that Woodward is another 20 miles away with no way to get there. After he started walking it, someone finally picked him up and landed him at Damn Am. Schaefer talks with Nathan about some of the things he's gone through and how he's just winging it and going for it to be out here for the Contest and to stay in California. Good luck Nathan! Best Schaefer quote from this interview: "You got a wack list of places you've been."Here's a little bit of Nathan's skating.

I'm a little jealous of this skate.ly site. They've got a nice clean design, an amazing video library, a nice looking store, and most of all, good content. On the nerdy side, whoever wrote it obviously knows their relational databases. One day when I can clone myself maybe our site will get there. They just did an interview with SPoTlight Productions head judge Jason Rothmeyer. From the intro: For most of the 1990’s Jason Rothmeyer and a tight knit crew of friends ran Long Beach and it’s surrounding areas, leaving a mark on skateboarding that is still seen to this day. I recently got the chance to sit down with the Jedi Master of skate nerds and discuss this golden age of skateboarding and his part in it then and now.

Shred or Die has an interview with everyone's favorite Team Manager and SPoTlight Productions judge, Mike Sinclair. He's one of the best story tellers out there. He's on his way to Tampa Pro right now with Abdias Rivera who's been texting me about skating in it. Go Abdias! They're driving here from California because Mike's afraid of planes. Check out Mike's amazing stories.
