New 2013 Street Course at Skatepark of Tampa

Thanks to the SPoT staff for the course demolition and Team Pain and Schaefer for the course construction. Here it is, fully completed for 2013: New 2013 Street Course at Skatepark of Tampa. Hope you enjoyed free skating for the few weeks of our annual housekeeping. We return to regular prices to skate today with the new course being done and ready for you to rip. Course demolition is officially over. Team Pain is here working on the new Park as I am typing this post. Remember, while the new stuff is being built there is FREE SKATING. We still have the Kiddie Course, Mini-Ramp, and Bowl open. I promise we will keep you updated on the progress of the course. We are hoping that it will be finished by Halloween.

Demolition: From Sunday, October 21 through Tuesday, October 23
Rebuild: From Wednesday, October 24 through Wednesday, October 31
Main Course reopens to the public on Thursday, November 1
Check back here for updates to the schedule and reports on progress
There will be free skating starting Sunday due to Main Course construction. Free skating lasts through the month of October. The kiddie course and courtyard/vert ramp will all still be skateable

New Course Needs Rebuilding - Locals Destroyed It

Porpe is introducing you to the newly completed course in this footage put together by Filmer Joe from last week on the first night it was skateable. Jereme Knibbs, Josh Wilson, Dylan Perry, PJ Castellano, Manny, Porpe, Chris Jata, Tom McKessy, Steve Buggica, and Nick Wilton tore it up on the first night out. The ender with Jata's nollie heel 50-50 backed up with Dylan Perry's nosegrind backside 180 out was amazing. Watch for them both in Tampa Am this week. If you can't make it, Tampa Am will be live right here on skateparkoftampa.com at noon EST on Sunday for the Semi-Finals, Moat Race, and Finals.

We're in the middle of our 19th annual course re-construction. Schaefer, Nick, Alex, Bobby, Frosty, Jacob, and Mark are tearing it down and Team Pain is going to build it right back up new. Things should be skatable by the end of this weekend. What do you think Schaefer and the Team Pain crew should drop on the course?
