Clements sent this over: I've been sitting on this story for a year and never really came up with a good way to use it. It was written by my friend John after last year's Tampa Pro. Some of his early skateboarding memories were triggered when he saw Dave Duncan announcing our Vert Contest in 2005. So what better way to remind you that Tampa Pro 2006 is this weekend than giving you a little bit of skateboarding history via personal story?
