Today's Battle of the Shops in Carlsbad, California was the first skateboarding event that I know of that drew police helicopters along with about 15 police cars. Some cop was around that saw a little bit of mayhem and called for enough backup to fight a war in a small country. More on that tomorrow. For now, check out the
