Thanks For the Monkey Bars, Tampa, Just What We Needed

The shortage of playgrounds and the intense demand for swingsets downtown has caused children to take matters in their own hands and begin
to build do-it-yourself playground see-saws and sandboxes in
abandoned building lots and
back alley ditches. The City of Tampa has fought long
and hard to shut down these rogue playgrounders by tearing down anything and everything they construct.
No more will you have to bring your own
playground obstacles to random places or spend your own
hard earned time and money making your own see-saws for fun just to have the city actually use resources to remove it. You will no longer have to
go to court because you used a see-saw illegally. Nope,
this Sunday the city is finally giving us what the kids have been desperate for: a legitimate playground.
So awesome. Halle-f-ing-lujah. Come celebrate on Sunday at 1:30pm for the grand opening. Let's make it a barn burner and show the mayor what they really should have built there.
